Junior Gymnastics

Growing independence. Building strong foundations.

Our Junior Gymnastics program is designed for children aged 2–5 years and grows with them through some of the biggest developmental changes of early childhood.

Children begin with a parent beside them and gradually progress towards participating independently, listening to instructions, remembering technique and taking ownership of their learning.

The gymnastics grows as they do.

We Believe Children Are Capable

We hold children to high expectations that are achievable for their developmental stage.

We don't expect perfection.

We give them opportunities to listen, remember, problem-solve and try again before stepping in to do it for them.

Because confidence doesn't come only from being told you're good at something.

It comes from discovering for yourself that you're capable.

Find Their Class

Bumblebees

Ages 2 & 3 | 40 Minutes | Parent Assisted

The beginning of structured gymnastics.

Parents remain on the floor as children begin learning class routines, basic gymnastics skills and body awareness while developing the confidence to participate in a group environment.

Butterflies

Ages 3 & 4 | 40 Minutes | Independent

Parents move to the sidelines as children take their next big step: doing class independently.

Activities develop coordination and gymnastics foundations while children practise listening, remembering instructions and becoming increasingly confident without their grown-up beside them.

Hummingbirds

Pre-Prep | 40 Minutes | Independent

Our final Junior Gymnastics level bridges the gap between early childhood gymnastics and our School Aged program.

Children build stronger gymnastics foundations while developing independence, turn-taking, listening, memory and confidence as they prepare for the transition to school.

Child-Led by Design

There is no expectation for your baby or toddler to complete every activity.

They can repeat something they love, move on when they're ready or simply watch for a while.

Our coach remains on the floor to guide the session, explain the purpose behind activities and help you recognise the developmental opportunities available.

You follow your child's lead.

More Than Gymnastics

During the first years of life, children are constantly discovering new ways to move.

Our activities provide opportunities to explore things like:

Balance

Coordination

Strength

Sensory Experiences

Confidence

Social Skills

There is no pressure to perform a skill or reach a milestone by a particular age. Instead, we create an environment full of developmentally appropriate opportunities and let children explore them at their own pace.
